The Rad-Rover LT1 Defender Conversion System delivers modern 6.2L direct-injection V8 performance with structured integration engineered specifically for the Defender chassis.

This is not a generic LT swap. 

It is a complete, platform-specific system refined through more than 100 Defender and Series conversions — developed, tested, and hand-built in Ames, Iowa · USA.

The LT1 Platform

The 6.2L GM LT1 represents the evolution of the modern small-block V8.

 

With direct injection, refined throttle calibration, and broader torque mapping, it delivers premium drivability without sacrificing performance.
